Terms and Conditions
When you make a purchase through the Chard Farm website, you acknowledge and accept the Terms and Conditions provided on this webpage. Please note that Chard Farm Limited reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Wine Club members are free to skip, modify, or cancel their shipments whenever they choose. However, if we don't receive any communication from you after four shipments, your membership will be cancelled. Additionally, if you haven't made any wine purchases within one year, your membership will also be cancelled.
Your card will be charged
You are providing authority for Chard Farm Limited to charge your credit card four times a year using their encrypted and security-protected payment system (Stripe). All members will be reminded of the payment date twice prior to purchase.
Sale of Liquor Act
Chard Farm holds a New Zealand-owned off license, in accordance with New Zealand's Sale of Liquor Act, allowing us to legally promote, sell, and deliver wine through online or mail order channels. It is strictly prohibited for Chard Farm Ltd to sell alcohol to individuals under the age of 18. Furthermore, it is unlawful for anyone under 18 to provide false information about their age for the purpose of purchasing alcohol. If you are under 18, it is against the law to use this website to buy alcohol. By accepting our terms and conditions, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older and that you are not purchasing wine for individuals under the age of 18.
Wine Club Membership
By signing up as either a Chard Farmer (12 bottles) or Friends of the Farm (6 bottles) wine club member, you are required to purchase a minimum of four shipments per year. By ticking the Terms and Conditions box at sign-up confirmation, you are agreeing to these terms. You are obliged to purchase at least four shipments prior to cancellation.
Wine Club Selection
Due to availability and seasonal variations, we reserve the right to adjust prices, offers, goods and specifications of goods at our discretion at any time before we accept your order. In the case of any significant change, we will inform you and will not process your order without your consent.
Returns and Refunds Policy
Chard Farm Ltd is committed to providing you with wine that meet high-quality standards and are free from faults or defects. According to the Consumers Guarantees Act, we will replace any goods that do not meet the standards of merchantable quality. If you have any concerns or are dissatisfied with your purchase(s), please don't hesitate to reach out to us at +64 3 442 6110. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are here to assist you.
We hold our customers' privacy in the highest regard. Under no circumstances will we sell or lease your personal information to any third party, except as allowed by the Privacy Act 2020. If you decide to join our wine club or subscribe to our mailing list, your information will be included in our database to receive periodic updates from us. Please be assured that any personal information collected by Chard Farm is securely stored in a private database, exclusively utilized to enhance and maintain our customer relationship with you.
Chard Farm Ltd allows payments through Visa, MasterCard, and Amex. Being a New Zealand-owned company, all payments are processed in New Zealand dollars, inclusive of 15% GST.
Chard Farm Ltd does not process or retain any of your credit card information. Your credit card details are directly collected by a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)-compliant payment service provider, Stripe. All payments are securely processed through our bank and this trusted payment provider. Our payment partners are dedicated to safeguarding your data and employ a range of technologies and protocols to prevent unauthorized access to personal information. Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for any issues that may arise from your use of this payment system. Your security and privacy are of utmost importance to us.
Chard Farm will aim to deliver all purchases within three to five working days however we do ask that you please allow up to ten working days for quarterly Wine Club shipment deliveries. Purchases can be made internationally however an additional cost will be incurred. For more information on these additional costs please contact us on +64 3 442 6110.
Occasionally, we may need to make adjustments to these terms and conditions, as well as the wine selection and club member benefits we provide. Any updates to the terms and conditions will be promptly reflected on our website, and these changes will become effective once they are published online. We recommend checking the terms and conditions periodically to stay informed about any modifications. Your awareness of any changes is important to us.
