Katrina Jackson - Young Viticulturist of the Year 2018

A glorious 'Well Done' to Katrina Jackson, our assistant vineyard manager who participated in Bayer, Young Viticulturist of the year competition for the Central Otago region this year.

Her challenges throughout the day included nutrition, making a budget, an interview about her views of the future of Central Otago wine industry and the rest of the country, tractor work, pruning, hortisports (moving a few barrels or two!), a quick-fire buzzer questions, trellising and wine tasting. 

Quite an exhausting day for our wonderful Katrina! Finally, the long day finished with the award ceremony, a few speeches and of course many glasses of Central Otago wine!
