How does the saying go?... ''behind every great man is a great woman” - and Gerdi Schumann is the embodiment of that saying! Chard Farm's co-owner, Rob's wife and mother to three wonderful children and two cats, without her the cogs of the farm would not churn so effortlessly. She spoils all her staff with glorious Wednesday lunchtime feasts, and when she's not riding her bike up the crown range she gives her time to manage the local preschool. For all that Gerdi, we say, Happy Mother's Day - you truly are one in a million!
