Finla Mor Pinot Noir 2010
winemaker’s comments:
final mor is our cromwell vineyards pinot noir. It is grown on selected vineyards in the cromwell basin. The vineyards are all situated on elevated terraces in the lowburn and parkburn areas. Each of the vineyards feature a mix of the alluvial schist based soils that give these wines their purity and minerality.
The 2010 season produced a wine with great concentration and perfect ripeness. The flavours are complex and long, and the mouth feel and texture is exquisite.
wine description:
The aroma displays red fruits, exotic spices and is fragrantly floral. The wine is supple and weighty in the mouth. The dark fruits, earthy tones and spices have an impressive depth of flavor and give way to an expansive finish backed by sturdy yet elegant tannin.
