Winemakers comments: We have taken the time to replant our Chardonnay vines with the best clones available on some of our best vineyard land. We have dedicated a small slope above our Tiger vineyard to Chardonnay and the result is stunning. We have always regarded the Pinot Gris that is also on this slope very highly for is fruit purity and texture. The Chardonnay seems to be achieving the same qualities. This is not an overweight, oaky dinosaur Chardonnay, it’s a beautifully tight, refreshingly pure, mineral driven wine.
Wine description: A wonderful perfume of wildflowers, zesty fruits and light spice. White nectarine and fresh fig flavours in the mouth. The wine is lively with wonderful texture and drive through the long mineral finish.
