The wine has bright lemon and apple blossom fruit aromas with some background crusty bread notes from the lees contact to give a little complexity. Very bubbly and lively on the palate, the wine has ripe citrus fruit notes and is characteristically fresh and effervescent on the finish. A refreshing aperitif style |

These bubbles are made from a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes harvested in 2005. All the grapes were grown in Central Otago; and the wine displays the hallmarks of the region – freshness and vivacity of flavour. The wine was made using the traditional methods of whole bunch pressing, fermentation in the bottle; and leaving the wine on its yeast lees for two years before riddling and disgorging. |
