A lot has been happening at Chard Farm over the past year - wild parties and shootouts, cool mountain bike races and bike sculptures, cart racing and beer brewing, and we think some wine was produced as well!

Lola by Lee
We have a wild biker chick residing on the lawn at our winery. Lola is the work of local artist Lee van der Geest who does amazing things with wood and in this case, using old Chard Farm chardonnay vines from a recent vine pull.

It takes a lot of beer to make a good wine
An old saying in the trade but with some truth to it! - the 2009 vintage at Chard Farm saw our winemaking team John Wallace (chief winemaker), Duncan Gibson (cellar supervisor) and visiting vintage hand Ben Friesan from USA partake in a home brewing “brew off”.
