Chard Farm the Tiger Pinot Noir 2007
the Tiger Pinot Noir is a single vineyard bottling that is made from grapes grown in our Tiger vineyard in the Lowburn area.. The vineyard is on sloping land up off the valley floor and this elevated cooler position allows the vineyard to ripen slowly, building layer upon layer of flavour nuance and soft silky tannins. The wines from this vineyard typically display spicy aromatic red berry fruits and violets. The palate is characterised by a broad structure and layers of fine integrated tannin and fruit. The 2007 vintage is one of the best we have seen from this vineyard. The season produced small bunches of grapes with tiny berries that have made wines with excellent fruit, tannin and acid balance, great flavour and real length.

Chard Farm Rosé 2008
After a couple of years of hibernation the famous Chard Farm Rose makes a triumphant return. The excellent 2008 harvest produced a wealth of ripe fruity Pinot Noir allowing us to make this special wine.
Strawberries and cream with candyfloss and toffeeapple notes. The wine is fruity and fresh with vibrant sweetness and a long finish. |

Our South Island Sauvignon Blanc - more refreshing than
a polar dip in Antarctica with Scarlett Johansson or George Clooney, you choose. A racy and zingy little number.

Chard Farm CO2 Bubbly 2005
These bubbles are made from a 50/50 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes harvested in 2005. All the grapes were grown in Central Otago; and the wine displays the hallmarks of the region – freshness and vivacity of flavour. The wine was made using the traditional methods of whole bunch pressing, fermentation in the bottle; and leaving the wine on its yeast lees for two years before riddling and disgorging. |

Chard Farm Finla Mor Pinot Noir 2008
Central Otago produced some amazing wines in 2008. Bright fruit and Central Otago pinot opulence to the fore. This Pinot makes you reach out for your favourite cut of meat. Fine tannins and elegant flavours with lots more to unfold over time! Will reward cellaring.
NB. for those who have some in the cellar - the 2007 Finla Mor has just been awarded 93 points in The Wine Advocate (Robert Parker). |
