It's that great time of the year when we finally get to pick those beautiful Pinot bunches and gorgeous fermentation aromas fill the Cellar. It's a lot of work, but very social and we eat and drink well - always a blast!  We have a big team helping in the Cellar, often foreigners – aka “flying winemakers”.   This year we have Colby and Megan  from Oregon, Erwin from Burgundy, Matt from Timaru and the prop's son Nico.  And of course we have a massive team in the vineyard – up to 30 people harvesting on any given day.
