the summiting of lola!
14 February 2012
A strange thing happened the other day at the Farm. Some guys pulled up in the car park and pulled out some fancy climbing gear, crampons, belay ropes, helmets, ice axes etc. They wandered into the tasting room and requested a drink and information on the best route to scale Lola! Greg Thurlow and Colin Rolfe were super impressed with Lola when visiting recently. They decided to return and be the first to summit her. No oxygen was required for the successful attempt and Im sure we saw Lola blushing a bit.
