One of the pioneers of the Central Otago wine industry Black Ridge wines in Alexandra has been sold. Verdun Burgess and Sue Edwards established Black Ridge in the early 1980s and were part of a small enthusiastic bunch of pioneering growers. A small farewell function involving some of the other pioneers was held recently. Verdun and Sue - thanks for the fun times, great memories and beautiful wines we wish you well in your future pursuits.
Photo - check out that Rocky landscape!
