It takes a lot of beer to make good wine!
19 January 2012
Chard Farms winemaker John Wallace cleaned up at the controversial local Lake Hayes A&P show beer brewing competition. John won gold and homebrew best of class for his CCCP Pilsner. The competition made national and even international headlines when local lass Rachael Beer (yes true name, I kid you not!) was refused entry because she was of the wrong sex (again I kid you not!).
We've got a winner!
