Every winery has a cellar door goat?!
30 October 2012
Yes not quite the cellar door dog here at Chard Farm. Our resident kid goat was found up the Shotover river by cellar door crew member Mitch the other day. Dale was heard bleating amongst some rocks in the middle of the river near the old Bullendale gold mine hence the Dale name. She is super confident and even has a bit of a stroppy attitude if things arent quite as she would have them. She is adored by all our cellar door visitors but poor old Lola is feeling a bit less loved with all the attention now on Dale.
