Chard Farm cycle/walkway trail - update on progress
27 February 2012
Those of you passing by the Farm recently will have noticed progress with the Arrowtown Gibbston leg of the new cycle/walkway trail. It goes right past Chard Farm on the other side of the road and incorporates 4 gorgeous suspension bridges. The most impressive by far is the Edgar bridge, crossing the Arrow river just before it meets the Kawarau River opposite Chard Farm. Its a monster 80m wide and 60m high. We cant wait to have it up and running in September this year bring it on .
